Frosk MOCKS Co-workers, After G4TV Layoffs. Why Does She Gets to KEEP Her Job?!

**UPDATE - G4tv has fired Frosk, reportedly due to the tweet***

On September 14th, at least somewhere between 20-30 employees were laid off at G4TV, according to a few sources close to the business, who contacted the gaming website, Kotaku. The impacted workers were allegedly completely unaware of these staff cutbacks; several even arrived on set expecting to work as usual only to learn that their specific programs had been canceled and to have one-on-one layoff meetings with the network's HR department.

The exact number of these layoffs is yet unconfirmed, however, individuals who were fired are reportedly expected to between 16 weeks and six months of severance pay based on their time with Comcast, the parent company of G4TV. The network, according to the mentioned sources, has been experiencing financial difficulties for some time. Managers have been given the responsibility of finding any and all possible cost-saving measures, including laying off employees.

Strangely, these changes occur just after the network unveiled a new schedule of additional programming, which includes God of Work, a God of War parody hosted by Xplay that borrows heavily from the tv show, The Office. One individual who spoke with Kotaku stated, “I truly can not imagine the company continuing to produce our slate of content without the people we lost today.”

Team members were allegedly working without a clear sense of direction after former G4 president Russel Arons, who herself left the company earlier this year, revealed that the network was having financial challenges and, in an effort to drive the company on the right path, set goals for the following year that were widely regarded as being absolutely unachievable.

Furthermore, not only did Arons quit the network a little under a year after taking the helm as president, but her departure occurred only about five months after G4 senior VP Blair Herter's voluntary departure as well.

G4TV host Indiana "Frosk" Black responded to this recent annulment of the network, by sharing a meme celebrating the fact that she did survive the vast employee cutbacks. This was an astonishing display of tone-deafness, especially coming from someone whose own actions essentially played a significant role in the financial and popularity downfall of G4TV.

Frosk, whose infamous "sexism in gaming" rant and odd PS5 statements will undoubtedly be cited as a critical cause in the network's difficulties. The meme mentioned above featured a lizard with a crown, the "Deal With It" glasses, a joint, and bold text reading "I SURVIVED" superimposed over its image. Frosk added, "Let's play some games, yo.”
